WHAT’S ON MY BOOKSHELF?
“Nature has and always will hold the answers to deep and radiant beauty. Brigitte Mars provides expert guidance to help you unveil your most beautiful self. Secrets of Meditation is a wonderful book by davidji, former dean of Chopra Center University. This book provides the reader with information about the basics of meditation as well as details about a number of meditation styles.
I love this book Complete Ayurveda Workbook by Anne Selby partly because of the colorful and engaging way that it is displayed. It promises to: Help you bring your mind, body and spirit into harmonious balance, teach you about optimum foods, effective detox and perfect exercise, as well as assist you in achieving physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing … what more could we want?!
One of my all-time favorite books is The Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga by Deepak Chopra and David Simon. One of the many things I like about this book is that it includes points about philosophy, meditation and breathing, as well as yoga practice.
Here’s what a couple of well-known individuals have said about The Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga:
“This book takes yoga out of the mysterious and into the wonderful world of the practical. You will want to start your yoga practice immediately after reading the first pages of The Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga.” – Dr. Wayne W. Dyer
“The Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga is a spiritual gem, the kind of book that seems to take you by the hand and guide you into clarity and peace.” – Marianne Williamson
